It was all that was open

You should always figure out what you want to eat as soon as possible in these sort of diners. If you send the waitress away, there's a good chance you may never see her again. Not that I advocate eating in those kinds of restaurants to begin with. All the food tends to taste the same.

Sure spent a lot of time in those places when I was younger, though.
