Here's the conclusion on "Woman-talk."

On Wednesday, we begin a new story line, titled "The Stand." Some of you have been wondering if Elisabeth is really going to stay in Sacramento, or if she's going to Portland with the boys. This story should answer that question. We also get to meet Elisabeth's father.

Continued thanks to all of you who are voting! We broke into the top 200 on Buzzcomix last week, but we seem to have slipped a few spots over the weekend. The competition gets tougher the higher you get, so if you guys can keep up with the once-a-day voting, that would be awesome.

I feel silly asking for this, but again, this isn't me being competitive. I'm just trying to get as many people reading the strip as possible, and the higher we get Hilarity Ensues on those lists, the more people are going to wander by and -- hopefully -- get hooked. So vote! Tell your friends, too. Top 100 lists are great and all, but word-of-mouth is probably the best way to lure new readers into my web.

Okay, enough begging. My knees are starting to hurt. I'll see you (and hopefully, your friends) back here on Wednesday! I may have some blog updates and other news for you this week, as well! Stay tuned ...
