I'd like to welcome all the new readers wandering over here from Girls With Slingshots! I'm glad you've decided to take a look at my little story, here, and I hope you'll stick around for a while!

I'd also like to apologize to anyone who's e-mailed me in the past week or so and hasn't gotten a response. I'm normally much better about things like that, and I plan to get caught up on e-mail this weekend.

Oh yeah, and I already called to tell her, but it bears mentioning here, as well: Happy Birthday, Mom!
